What Are The Effects of Stress Over A Long Period of Time?

Stress levels during times of crisis can add a heavy burden to families, especially if the conditions are drawn out over a period of time. In our humanness we are more likely to recover faster when crises are only for a few hours or a few days. However sustained, stress over long periods of time tends to take its toll on our ability to cope and can disrupt our sense of peace and well-being.

Because there have been so many changes over such a short period of time, we may be experiencing an increase of fear and anxiety, as well as feelings of depression, joylessness and helplessness. We may be noticing more aggression in our homes as everyone struggles to adapt to a new normal. Or we may feel more shutdown or notice our spouse or children are acting out in ways that don’t match their normal responses. As a result, IHA is offering the following support to families in times of crisis:

  1. Clinic Processes, 2 for 1!
  2. Emotional Super Powers Super Tools Kit, Buy One, Get One FREE!
  3. Good Morning Monday Webinars with Pam Robinson, FREE!

The Good Morning Monday webinars provide 40 minutes of powerful content including emotional health tips, personal stories, and group participation as we come together to learn about how to deal with long term stress. This FREE webinar also includes a 20 minute discussion where we will tune into what we can celebrate during these times, talk about what’s in our hearts, offer gratitude, and find ways to serve and support. This gives us all an opportunity to grow together and to find ways to continue to thrive even under these chaotic circumstances. I want to extend a personal invitation to everyone to join us in our weekly webinars, to take advantage of the clinic processing special for you and for family members, and enrich your family in emotional wellbeing with our Super Tools Kit.

Now is the time to let go of what is no longer needed and adapt to new ways of being. It is a time for renewal, reconnecting to self and loved ones and re-evaluating what really matters and what we want to take with us into the future. We are all in this together and IHA stands ready and willing to offer emotional support where needed to you and to your families.

We will get through!
Loves always,
Pam
