Welcome to IHA’S EARLY 25th Anniversary Celebration! We are starting the party early! It’s been 25 years since we opened our doors.
I want to share my gratitude with our IHA community and with all who have supported us in building and sustaining the school!
And, as an expression of my gratitude, I am offering a BOGO for our IPT Certification Course for all of our locations. This “gratitude special” is for our September classes. We encourage you to share this offer with family and friends. In the spirit of giving the IPT Certification Course there will be many more opportunities for others to start their journey towards growth and healing.
According to a 2020 study in the Journal of Happiness Studies, practicing gratitude 15 minutes a day, five days a week, can help improve emotional well-being and promote long-term attitude changes.
Gratitude is contagious and it is a practice that shifts our focus to the positive elements of our lives and ourselves. We have all heard that keeping a gratitude log using a plain notebook or a journal with prewritten prompts is an easy way to jot down your blessings.
Finding time to list off things you are grateful for can affect the flow of your whole day!
Answering questions like:
What recent challenges have I overcome?
What did this challenge teach me?
If your body image is a perpetual cause of negative talk, try asking:
How can I treat my body with gratitude, nourishment, or respect today?
What personal gifts and strengths am I grateful for?
What can I do to help strengthen a better relationship with myself?
How can I express gratitude to those around me?
Coming to IHA this fall would help you find like-minded people to support you in your healing work. It would also help you work through those negative thoughts and actually make long-lasting change!
